Christmas in June | Stikland Children's Home

When I saw that Karla Oettler from Absolute Weddings & Events Coordination was planning a charity event at Stikland Children's Home, I jumped at the opportunity to get involved.  During this time of year I am not that busy with weddings so I try to get involved in my community and give something back. 

Absolute Weddings and Events Coordination has a quarterly commitment with Stikland with some various different projects and each year they have a "Christmas in June" party for the kids.  WOW, this is really awesome!!!

I was so touched by the kids, WOW, this was really a good charity event for me to cover.  I just realised how blessed we are for our health and mental health.  To see the kids smile and take part in all the games was also so great.
