When I left
Durbanville for the shoot, I was really excited, because it was a nice sunny
day with a cool breeze, BUT, when we arrived in Kalk bay it was cold, cloudy
with a VERY strong wind :-( We couldn’t take
any photos at the Kalk bay harbour, because there were so much spray from the
wind blowing the waves. We had to
improvise and had to get some other spots for photos. Luckily Kalk bay is such a nice town with
interesting alleys, shops and streets.
Christo and Nadia were also so great and just played along and tried to
enjoy the shoot as much as possible despite the wind.
Despite all the challenges, I am really happy
with the results and I just want to thank Christo and Nadia for being such a
great couple. Looking forward to March
to capture your wedding day at the beautiful Nantes.
I was waiting with bated breath to see the rest of the photos once you had posted the first two on facebook. I thought that it would take at least a week and was so impressed when Nadia messaged to say that you have posted the photos. I found that I could not comment the first time I saw the photos, and neither did I manage to put words to what I felt the 2nd time I went through them again. I keep on clicking throught this album. So many thoughts and emotions - It isn't easy to express in words how beautiful this album is.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that you have any idea how much these really mean to us sitting on this side the globe so far away. These photos that now light up my screen have given me an insight into what my children see in each other every day. You have captured their essence and frozen it in time for me to see - and it is such a breathtakingly beautiful view. It is what makes them so much in love and so happy. From the bottom of my heart - I cannot thank you enough.
Stunning photographs of a beautiful couple!!
